In the town of Willford Heights lives a 12-Year-Old girl named Penny Iris, whose mother is chief of police and father is a best-selling children's book author. Her grandparents watch her and her 9-year-old brother, Marcel every day after school. One day, she discovers her childhood favorite toy, a stuffed dinosaur named Barney, and it magically comes to life, to her surprise. But when trouble strikes, it's up to Penny to prove to the world that Barney exists.
