Banjo-Kazooie is a American adventure comedy film based on Rare's video game franchise of the same name. Produced by Universal Pictures, Illumination, and Xbox, and distributed by Universal, it was directed by Kyle Balda and Yarrow Cheney and written by Matthew Fogel. The film features an origin story of a male bear named Banjo and his friend, a large female red bird named Kazooie who are tasked with thwarting of the evil schemes led by Gruntilda who kidnapped Tooie, so they set off a adventure of a lifetime to save Tooie from Gruntilda's reign of terror.
