Story Plot
When a deadly diphtheria epidemic spreads around Nome, Alaska, Balto, a half wolf ignored by all except for a goose named Boris and two polar bears, is chosen to run but is disqualified by Steele. When the other dogs are lost in the snow, Balto treks out to save them and get the medicine to end the diphtheria epidemic of Nome.
