Young 14 year old O'Conner McFly and his family are forced to live in grandfather's old house after his mom lied and had not told then they could not pay the rent, and were bad off, while snooping around his grandfather's stuff, he found more stuff out about his grandpa, and finds a DeLorean which is heavily modified from a normal DeLorean, he decides to take it to an illegal street race and accidently gets sent back to the 1965
