When the Avengers go to retrieve Jean Grey and are nearly defeated by a Phoenix Force-powered Cyclops, Wanda arrives and saves them. After Cyclops is defeated, Jean Grey gets the full power of the Phoenix Force. She and Wanda then combine their powers to drive away the Phoenix from Earth by saying "No More Phoenix." This results in mutants across Earth regaining their powers, which undoes the damage Wanda caused in House of M. Despite this, many mutants still hate and fear Wanda, which leads to her getting locked up (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scarlet_Witch)
