After Magneto's sacrifice and Doom has been defeated, the Avengers were about to disassemble now that the X-Men were back, with a new recruit at that; well, more like an old one in Pietro. The Defenders now return to their business in protecting New York while Peter goes back to Parker labs and return to his wife & son. Bobby finally proposes to Rogue, and Logan sees her like a proud father. Pyro has found the fault in his actions, and joined the X-Men. Charles mourns the death of Erik Lehnsherr, but he knows that Magneto died becoming the Erik that he once knew.
