Synopsis

The Avengers, is a 2012 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Written and directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, the film features an ensemble cast including Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, and Jeremy Renner as the Avengers, alongside Tony Leung Chiu Wai, Tim Roth, Scott Adkins, Hugo Weaving, Toby Jones, Sam Rockwell, Michelle Rodriguez, Jeff Bridges, Mickey Rourke, Tom Hiddleston, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jon Favaure, Don Cheadle, Paul Bettany, Liv Tyler, Chloë Grace Mortez, Nick Jonas, Harrison Ford, Mike Colter, Jon Bernthal, Ben Barnes, Dwayne Johnson, Frank Grillo, Brie Larson, Natalie Portman, Stellan Skarsgård, Kat Dennings, Cobie Smulders, Clark Gregg, Emily VanCamp and Samuel L. Jackson. In the film, Nick Fury and the spy agency S.H.I.E.L.D. recruit Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, Bruce Banner, Thor, Natasha Romanoff, and Clint Barton to form a team capable of stopping The Ten Rings and it's Allies from subjugating Earth.

Description of Carol Danvers (Doesn't reveal she has powers until Film 3):

Carol is more of a background character. She is a part of the group of soldiers that was fighting in Iraq with Clint Barton, Anthony Masters, Carl Lucas, Frank Castle, Billy Russo, Ben Grimm, Brock Rumlow and Jack Rollins. She mostly serves as a pilot. She does appear in the final battle when SHIELD raids the Russian facility to stop a Nuclear launch.
