Synopsis

(DISCLAIMER: THIS TAKES PLACE IN 2012 IN AN ALTERNATE TIMELINE OF THE X-MEN WHERE LAST STAND DOESN'T EXIST) Dark Overlord from 1986 is back. He has taken human form and is stronger than ever. He has attacked S.H.I.E.L.D.'s research facility and has taken what was theorized to be the source of ultimate power along Reed Richards so he can make a portal to lead an alien race called the Chitauri to conquer Earth. But Nick Fury had an idea. Called the Avengers Initiative. And he has chosen heroes like Wolverine, Daredevil, Elektra, Spider-Man as the leader, and Howard the Duck as the Dark Overlord expert on the team. But tensions rise as they uncover secrets that S.H.I.E.L.D. had kept. Will the heroes unite and put their differences aside? Or will the Dark Overlord open the portal and the Chitauri invade Earth?

Description of Logan Howlett (Wolverine):

Logan remembers what he did in Days of Future Past, and what had come to that. He's glad to have prevented the purge of the X-Men by the Sentinels. When he gets recruited into the Avengers Initiative, he didn't join unless he gets information from Omega Red. During this movie, he slowly bonds with Spider-Man, being the second leader of the Avengers. Even though he didn't catch Omega Red in Germany, something felt off about S.H.I.E.L.D. and why they wanted the Tesseract. He wanted to know what.
