Peter tells Jameson the big news. Robbie, Betty, and Hoffman are shocked that Peter has to leave, and it even softened ol' J. Jonah Jameson's heart to hear him leaving. Before the announcement, Peter comes clean. Robbie, betty, Hoffman, and JJJ are the only peope in the Bugle who now know about Peter being Spider-Man. Peter's leaving to start Parker Laboratories, and he'll take one last picture of Spider-Man if JJJ and the Bugle Bunch keep his secret. Jonah's heart finally softens and he hugs Peter, saying that he was a son to him, since he practically disowned the Scorpion. Jameson will continue to say Spider-Man is a menace, but it's a money-seller, no longer a personal message. Jonah then continues to tarnish Spider-Man's name, but not too much, knowing that one of his best former employees is that hero saving the streets.
