Warner Bros. and Paramount are the first studios to develop the rights to distribute Assassin's Creed Films and sets in the same universe as the Ubisoft games but to feature original stories that expands the franchise' mythology and plot revolves around the protagonists and their ancestors who became a member of the Assassin Brotherhood whilst he or she was abducted by Abstergo because of his or her DNA. To stop Abstergo, the Templar Order of the modern-day, from finding the Pieces of Eden and using any of them to enslave humanity and protect the Piece of Eden, an artifacts believed to contain the key to humanity's free will for the Assassins and their beliefs in free will are endorsed by high percentage of people from around the world.
