Laura Ruth Harrier (born March 28, 1990) is an American actress and model. She began modelling at 17 after a location scout discovered her. She moved to New York City, where she continued modelling and was represented by agencies such as IMG Models and Wilhelmina Models. She modelled for various mainstream magazines, appeared in campaigns for Urban Outfitters, Macy's and Steve Madden, and was the face of Garnier. After appearing in several commercials and student films, Harrier pursued acting and studied at the William Esper Studio. She was first recognized for her role as Destiny Evans in the 2013 one-season reboot of the American soap opera One Life to Live. Harrier's role as Peter Parker's love interest, Liz Allan, in Spider-Man: Homecoming brought her international attention in 2017. She gained further recognition for portraying civil rights activist Patrice Dumas in BlacKkKlansman (2018), receiving a Black Reel Award nomination. In 2019, she starred as an art student in the independent drama film Balance, Not Symmetry. In 2020, she received further attention for starring as Camille Washington in the Netflix miniseries Hollywood. Harrier is an ambassador for Louis Vuitton and has modelled for other luxury brands like Bulgari, Calvin Klein, and Boss. In the 1910s, After the homeless rate lowered in Paris, people were excited, however weeks later news had spread that officers have found the body of homeless people laid on the streets with scratch marks across their bodies and street cats surrounding them. This caught the attention of three detectives who disguised themselves as homeless people to figure out what’s really happening. During the second night the three detectives and two homeless people get kidnapped into a white car being driven by a woman named Madame Bonfamille. When the five hostages arrive to Madame Bonfamille’s house they find out the she is the leader of the Aristocats Cult, a cult made up of wealthy people of their community, who do rituals on the homeless people to transform them into savage werecats and force them to fight to the death while the wealthy people bet money on them. Madame Bonfamille eventually finds out about the intruders and sends out her creations to kill them but when they don’t manage to kill, she decides to do it herself and transforms into a giant werecat with the help of black magic
