In "Aquaman: Throne of Atlantis," Arthur Curry is still struggling to come to terms with his dual identity as both a human and the king of Atlantis. When a devastating underwater attack rocks both worlds, Arthur must reconcile these conflicting aspects of himself in order to save them both. As Arthur searches for answers, he is drawn into a political power struggle within the underwater kingdom of Atlantis. He is introduced to his half-brother Orm, who has staged a coup against their mother Queen Atlanna in order to take the throne for himself. With the help of Mera, an Atlantean warrior, and his mentor Vulko, Arthur must navigate treacherous waters to prevent a devastating war between the surface world and Atlantis. But Orm is not without allies, as he has enlisted the help of the powerful Black Manta, a pirate with a grudge against Aquaman. As the two sides clash in an epic battle, Arthur must not only fight for the throne of Atlantis, but for the very survival of both worlds.
