Fan Casting Story Notes Part 1 in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Small Beginnings (MCU Reimagined) (2011)

1. The film’s framing device would be present day Hank Pym telling Hope how he and Janet met, narrating the film (something similar to 1994’s Interview With the Vampire) 2. Hank and Janet’s dynamic would be something similar to theirs in Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes with Hank being more work oriented and fascinated with science and Janet being more outgoing and determined to be a superhero 3. M.O.D.O.K. and A.I.M. would be the main villains of the film who plan to steal the Tesseract from S.H.I.E.L.D. and use it to create weapons of mass destruction to restart the Cold War and take over the world 4. Speaking of which, MODOK’s design will be more gruesome looking (I feel like the design in the MCU we have looks too normal) 5. SHIELD and Howard Stark would form a think tank to better study the Tesseract and its powers, wanting to use it to help improve the country’s tech as a possible clean energy source 6. However, there would be plans behind the scenes that would try to use the Tesseract as a weapon (foreshadowing what we will see in Avengers and The Winter Soldier). These plans would get put on hold after the events of the film, the high council feeling it would be too much trouble with the Cold War tensions.
