Synopsis

Synopsis: Successful scientists and happy couple Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne have long worked on a project they call 'Pym Particles'. Blood, sweat and tears are consumed before the couple finally manages to finish the project. Janet signed up as a test subject, and when the test is run, Janet shrinks drastically. Hank injects himself after the success of the first test of Pym Particles, and just like his wife, he shrinks dramatically. The couple trains with their newfound powers the following days. Eventually, they get a grip on how to use their powers, and they decide to use their powers to save people. They design costumes and now, they save the city under the aliases Ant-Man and Wasp. Millionaire and founder of Cross Technologies Darren Cross suddenly becomes seriously ill. Doctors say that Cross only has a few days left to live. Darren comes in contact with a certain Elihas Starr who promises him a cure for his illness in exchange for killing both Ant-Man and Wasp. Elihas is a former Pym Technologies worker, one of the few people who know everything about Pym Particles. His interest in this invention drove him crazy and he started spying on Hank Pym. When Hank found out about this he became angry and began to treat Elihas worse than he had done before. Hank started abusing him, before eventually firing Elihas.

  • biggord In a desperate attempt to save his life, Darren Cross steals a prototype Ant-Man suit from the rival company Pym Technologies. This prototype suit is equipped with Pym Particles, which means that Darren now also has the power to sink. In desperate need of the cure, Darren breaks into a weapons factory, killing several people along the way. This is to get enough firepower to eliminate the two heroes. Hank and Janet arrive at the weapons factory to stop Cross. Darren steals weapons and manages to slow down the two heroes long enough for him to escape. A long chase, which puts several people in danger, finally ends when Cross happens to drive into a dead end with his stolen car. At first, Darren fights the two heroes, but when he notices that he does not have a chance, he begins to ask for mercy. He tells Hank and Janet the whole situation, and they agree that he should get medical care in prison. A desperate Darren swears revenge on both Ant-Man and Wasp when he is released. mid credit scene: Elihas finds out that Ant-Man and Wasp have put Cross behind bars and start roaring with anger. He promises himself that one day he will take revenge on Hank Pym, even if it is the last thing he does. Post credit scene: Reed Richards sets a date for his test flight 'Marvel-1' to be launched into space. With this, he and his fellow passengers will explore Earth-like planets.
