Anora, a young worker hailing from Brooklyn, seizes her opportunity for a Cinderella-like tale when she encounters and hastily weds the son of an oligarch. However, once the news travels to Russia, her fairytale faces jeopardy as his parents embark on a journey to New York with the intention of having the marriage annulled.
