The Musical
Annie is a Broadway musical based on the comic strip Little Orphan Annie. Set in the 1930s, it follows Annie, a brave and optimistic orphan, as she tries to find her parents while enduring the harsh conditions of Miss Hannigan’s orphanage. She is chosen to spend Christmas with billionaire Oliver Warbucks, who grows fond of her and helps in the search. When a scammer couple falsely claims to be her parents, the truth is revealed, and Warbucks ultimately adopts Annie, giving her the loving family she always wanted. The musical features iconic songs like Tomorrow and It’s the Hard Knock Life.
