@axiomman personally it would have a tone more in line with the book, it would yes be split into to two films therefore making a two parted duology

@axiomman part 1's Unexpected Journey and Part 3's "There and Back Again", so none of that unnecessary Trilogy extension nonsense or the whole dwarf elf love story or even Azog being turned into a superboss
