Synopsis

An assortment of ten remarkable people find themselves guests at an extravagant manor on Indian Island. The only trouble is...well, the host isn't there. When a terrifying recording reveals supposed crimes that each of them has committed, and when the guests begin to die off one by one, it becomes apparent that whoever sent the invitations is a psychotic murderer with a twisted sense of justice. When a thorough search of the island reveals no hidden persons and a violent sea storm cuts them off from the mainland, the chilling realization dawns that the murderer can only be one of the ten.

Description of Vera Claythorne:

Vera Claythorne is an up-and-coming young governess who accepts a job offer as secretary for the host. Her moderate temperament and unruffled dignity become increasingly disturbed as one by one her companions begin to die off and her shockingly tragic past becomes revealed. She is the first to realize that each of the murders is patterned after a nursery rhyme hung in each of their rooms, nearly going hysterical with terror.
