Fan Casting Amber Clad (Steampunk Studio Ghibli style movie)

AMBER CLAD is a mechanical steampunk city in the close to the North Pole. It runs entirely on steam and clockwork, complete with moving buildings. Thomas Darius is the lead engineer who helps to keep the city running along with other engineers. There are also low level engineers that help with more minor maintenance around the city. Even though there are different classes the city is very prosperous. Alexa “Lex” Darius is Thomas’ daughter who is also an engineering prodigy so much so she also helps her Father maintain the city. They live happily in the snow covered city, but one a day a a giant evil Coronel named Eugene Bronson and his floating army ship attack AMBER CLAD with the purpose of taking the city for its resources. Lex’ parents are taken hostage, but Lex manages to avoid capture and hides in the city. She meets up with Daniel and Prisa, a brother and sister low level engineer duo.
