Thneedville, 1979: in the town created by tycoon Once-ler there is no a single tree anymore, and the businessman goes bankrupt. A nerdy 17-year-old billposter named Aloysius starts to work d ay and night to find the way to make air artificially, with the help of his friend Cy.
