ringothedrummerOk, so I think we can all agree that most of the Disney remakes are pretty bad. But that doesn’t mean they can’t be good. I know an Alice in Wonderland remake would probably be unlikely, due to the Burton films (even though they aren’t remakes), but the idea of an Alice in Wonderland adaptation directed by Yorgos Lanthimos was just something I had to make
nathanbates@ringothedrummer love the cast and the concept. Lanthimos’ inhumanely deadpan style would be a pretty interesting way to interpret the book. It would have to exist outside of the Disney machine, though. Like Del Toro’s Pinocchio or that Sofia Coppola Little Mermaid that never was. That kind of adaption would have been my main obsession when I was a teenager lol.
