Aristotle was one of the three most important philosophers of ancient greece, along with Plato and Socrates. Aristotle was interested in many different subjects as: philosophy, astronomy, politics, biology, history, science, physics, geography and many others. Philip of Macedon wanted him as teacher for his son. He was paid with the re-built of Stagira, his birth city, previously destroyed by Philip. So Alexander was his student in the Lyceum of Meza, in the hills near Pella. Probably Aristotle's thinking influenced and inspired young Alexander.
