During a nuclear test, the French Government has awakened something. Years later, a giant reptile with god-like powers makes his way to San Francisco. Dr. Niko Tatopoulos (Will Smith), an animal expert from Columbia University, is sent by the U.S. government to study the beast. When the creature, dubbed "Godzilla" by the United Nations, emerges, am enormous battle with the military begins, however, the firing of weapons only makes Godzilla madder. To make matters worse, Niko discovers that another, much bigger threat has arrived on Earth in the form of Ghidorah...
