Fan Casting Alec Baldwin in Clear and Present Danger

In 1992 John McThiernan confirmed that he will direct Clear and Present Danger after the success of The Hunt for Red October. Alec Baldwin and Gates McFadden returned as Jack and Cathy Ryan while Peter Gallagher played John Clark, James Woods played Robert Ritter, Andy Garcia played Felix Cortez and Powers Boothe is the President. James Earl Jones’ character was originally meant to die just like the novel, but the idea was changed and repurposed for the next movie “Patriot Games”
