Based on the cartoon, it takes place in the Land of Ooo where all kinds of mythical creatures and anthropomorphic creatures coexist. Finn is a 12-year-old boy who, despite being the only human in Ooo, desires adventure. Especially when he has his best friend and adoptive brother by his side: Jake, a magic dog who can stretch into different shapes and forms. After rescuing the princess of the Candy Kingdom from a freak accident, she rewards Finn by showing him the legend of a book called "The Enchiridion," a hero's manual meant to be in possession of those with righteous hearts.
