guam2020 @adamatc Suggesting Michael Bay is a grave insult to master John Ford.

- guam2020 @adamatc I don't think you are necessarily wrong about most those facts, but Bay and Ford are not similar. First of all, Ford certainly did not invent the blockbuster; there were many movies in his time and before that would fit more with that term than his own. Bay and Ford are not similar stylistically or thematicaly.

- adamatc @guam2020 I can get that you are kind of a cinema elitist and you think Bay = Bad . But his contribution to the cinema-blockbuster can't be denied (a genre that Ford started , Frankheimer got into the 70's )
