This is a story criticizing how the sensationalism of crime, the misrepresentation of facts, & the romanticization of killers is often exploited in the name of entertainment. Harry doesn't really care about the victims of the crimes, nor about the criminals as people, seeing them as no more real than characters in a story. But through living this strange series of events, he's given a bloody wake up call about how terrible a human mind can be and how ugly it is when people only see you as a character for an MCU actor to play in the next Oscar-bait film
