Fan Casting Fahim Fazli

This inspiring narrative chronicles the compelling life journey of Fahim Fazli. Born and raised in Kabul, Afghanistan, Fazli saw his country and family split apart by revolution and civil war. His mother, older brother, and two younger sisters fled the totalitarian terror of Communism, but Fahim, his brother Hares, and his father went years without any word as to their whereabouts. Finally, the three of them embarked upon a dramatic escape of their own, trekking for seven days and seven nights through the perils of the Hindu Kush, eventually making it to Pakistan.
