Synopsis

At the world's largest pop culture convention in Atlanta, a social media influencer is being blackmailed. Her father, a fantasy grand master, employs a private investigator to infiltrate fandom to find the blackmailers. When a prominent IT CIO is murdered along the way, it appears there are a number of people out to protect the blackmailers and their sinister organization.

Description of Scout/Geek Rex:

"Scout" is the organizer of a regional pop culture convention in western Pennsylvania and also the owner of a Subaru dealership. He is affiliated with DrakkenFest, the largest pop culture convention in the world, and dispatched by an unknown member of that con to scout Peter Ellis as a possible investigator on a sensitive, personal case. In his convention role, he is locally-proclaimed "King of the Geeks" doing local car commercials in cosplay and playing up the fantasy aspects for TV. He considers himself "The Herald of Great Grandmaster Stern"
