Synopsis

Food critic Dorothy Daniels loves what she does. Discerning, meticulous, and very, very smart, Dorothy’s clear mastery of the culinary arts make it likely that she could, on any given night, whip up a more inspired dish than any one of the chefs she writes about. Dorothy loves sex as much as she loves food, and while she has struggled to find a long-term partner that can keep up with her, she makes the best of her single life, frequently traveling from Manhattan to Italy for a taste of both. But there is something within Dorothy that’s different from everyone else, and having suppressed it long enough, she starts to embrace what makes Dorothy uniquely, terrifyingly herself. Description of Marco Iocco (Davide Iochino):

Dorothy's longest lasting lover. Instead of framing his death as an accident, she makes it appear as if a satanic cult killed him. A jewish-italian man. First, he is a college aged Italian boy in the post punk era with tousled hair, white skin, and kohl eyeliner. Later, he was he had a black beard and gold wedding band and a white apron while working in his kosher butcher shop. As he became older, his hair got thinner and shorter, and he began to embrace his jewish heritage he has once tried to hide. He wore fedoras in the winter, straw hats in the summer, but always wore his kippah. Is married with multiple children. Goes back and forth between being a loyal husband Dorothy. 6'2" 200 lbs
