Originally a biologist curt conners was conscripted into the vietnam war after losing his arm during active combat he returns home as a broken man, he takes dna from his pet lizards and uses it to regrow his arm the U.S government learns about this and hires him to fix the recreated super soldier serum testing on himself he goes insane and mutates into a lizard monster
