Following the resignation of Captain Dickson, the Jump Street program falls under a new, strict administration. Deemed too old for undercover work and blamed for the string of expensive catastrophes from their previous cases, Schmidt and Jenko are fired. Now out of the force, the duo finds work at a local convenience store. However, they soon realize the shop is at the center of a major trafficking ring for a dangerous new drug. Without badges or backup, they decide to take the law into their own hands to take down the operation from behind the counter.
