2 Need 2 Speed takes place after the events of the first film and follows Jake Thompson and Marcus Williams as they embark on a new adrenaline- fueled adventure. Jake's past catches up with him when his childhood friend Martin Steele is released from prison. Martin seeks redemption and reunites with Jake to make amends for his past mistakes.
