Joey Harker is not a hero. In fact, he is the type of guy who is capable of losing himself in his own home. But one day, Joey does get lost; oh really. He leaves this world to fully enter another dimension. The walk Joey takes between two worlds is unusual, and his uncanny ability pits two deadly enemy forces against each other to gain that power. The armies of science and magic want to learn how to shuttle between realities the same way he does, and it seems his only options are to join one or the other. However, he soon discovers that there are many just like him and that despite their shapes and sizes, they share many similarities with Joey himself?
