The new layout is ugly as hell
links to actors social medias and imdbs no longer appear on their profile pages, along with country flags.
yea nothing about the new layout is superior to the old one in any way. its ugly, im sorry to whoever designed it, its really not good. its harder to read. the mobile version is a disaster. the photo resolution is terrible. the text of a character's name now takes up real estate over the photos. long names don't even show completely. alias names dont even show up now. half of all the photos are poorly cropped now too. everything about the changes is bad. again, im sorry to whoever designed the new layout, but as blunt as this criticism is, it is still constructive criticism.
Also YouTube links not showing up on stories and roles anymore. And then the fact that we normal users cannot edit actor profiles for some reason.

Update for those who didn't know: social media links on actor profiles and stories are now showing up, tho YT links still aren't showing up on stories and roles. Plus, country flags on actor profiles are showing up as well.

And finally we can edit them again!!!!

Whatever I cast, the profiles get big instantly!
Though I do have to admit that I like the More Character Images part. I can add more pictures of characters in my stories. For example in my Marvel stories, the characters wear more than one suit. I can show all the suits they wear.
Pls bring back add a role for casting an actor for a character!
They keep updating the site to fix issues people have with it. I think we should just make it clear we want the old one back...
Two more issues I've noticed about the new layout:
1. The comment button on fancasts/roles that allows you to directly jump to the comment section without scrolling through all the roles is gone now, which is a pain because if I want to comment on something (or heck, even just jump to role submissions without scrolling through several hundred casting suggestions) I have to scroll through everything single casting suggestion.
2. For some reason, profile text is broken and no longer supports paragraphs anymore, meaning I have one big block of text that's a headache to read on my profile.
I also notice my confirm casting button gone! PLS BRING IT BACK!!!!!
I hate to be a nitpicker but the front page for logged in users now has a video to the most recent episode of the podcast that I think would be distracting to some.
Yep, was just complaining about this to friends earlier. It's a lot less obtrusive on mobile, so I'm guessing they forgot to test the formatting for desktop users or something.

Honestly yeah, could be a problem. Not to mention, it seriously bothers me that THIS is the most updates we've gotten to the site since the mass overhaul. PMs are still broken and we still can't access our old ones and we have no word on when that'll be fixed, there's still plenty of site improvements that could be made, but they... Want to turn the site into a vehicle for the podcast. Okay.
Does anyone else notice the bugs with some images now that the image size requirements have now been removed. Or is it I am I the only that has noticed this?

They finally removed image size requirements?It still shows the this image is too small message when I try to add an image but they removed the pixels (thinking it was somewhere of wanting a photo with pixels more than 400 for both dimensions) requirement and likely has become misleading in the process.
Oh yeah, that's been a weird boundary for a while now? I think if it's just close enough to 355 x 500 you can squeeze it in even when undersized, even before the site revamp. I don't think anyone bothered to bring it up though.
