Not talking about bots for the record. There's someone who's been spamming huge volumes of "(Insert ludicruously popular actor here) as (Spider-Man variant here)" fancasts, like, I'm talking in the HUNDREDS, oftentimes while not even bothering to cast on them, and it's been completely flooding recent stories lately. Is this kind of spam against the rules or something? At minimum, it's definitely massively obnoxious.
Spam "Fancasts"?
Oh, that user who always upload AI generated images and some fanarts/edits as the posters? Yea, I've been deleting some of their stories, specifically the ones that has the thicc thigh genderswap Miles fanart as the poster image (the titles were like "[insert actress name] as Spider Woman with big dat" or whatevs).
If this keeps up, I will try deleting their stories.
However, idk if the other admins/mods would consider this kind of behavior as against the rules.
Yep, exactly the person I'm talking about. Part of me feels like it should be, as there's functionally nothing different about each one and it clogs up search/newest stories results with tens of identical stories that push out everyone else's. Like. They don't cast on them so they're not getting any actual use out of this, these stories are all more or less the same with little variation, and after a while it's in practice no different than those bots who constantly flood their ads, just with fancasts instead of the ads. This feels like a violation of common courtesy at minimum.
In all honesty I feel like this would be a good case for staff to add something like an anti spam feature to making stories that would prevent people from making large amounts of stories in short windows of time.
