You can delete characters you've created, but not that other users created. Which are you asking about?

I'm asking if users can delete their own characters and story, maybe by mistake or other good reasons.

Yes; if you're looking at a story or character you've created, you should see links for "Archive Story" or "Archive Role", which will hide the story/character from the website, but it will still be visible to you.

You can now delete unwanted roles made by other people, on stories you have added.

That is what I am only now understanding. That seems so crazy. I can't believe someone didn't see the value in creating an option for people to delete things they didn't mean to create on purpose.

You can only delete suggestions that you have made if no other users have voted on the suggestion. This is to prevent users from deleting and re-adding unpopular suggestions.

I had a glitch where it added the same suggested actress three times for a role on my own story. There have been votes on the correct one, but the other two are just sitting there. How do I delete that?

Hi mycast -- if I am the only person to have voted on my own cast suggestion and I have second thoughts, how do I remove it? I dont merely wish to vote no - I would like to remove it altogether.

click on your suggestion and scroll down almost towards the end of the page. there's a "delete suggestion" button below the "more fan casting suggestions for ____ character" section.
