First appeared in Legends of the Dark Claw #1 in 1996 and was created by Larry Hama and Jim Balent. Creed H. Quinn and Logan Wayne were in both the Royal Canadian Air Force and Weapon X Project together and both underwent experimentation that enhanced both of them, but drove Creed insane. Logan became known as the Dark Claw, while Creed became known as his archenemy Hyena. He is an amalgamation of DC's Joker and Harley Quinn and Marvel's Sabretooth.
