Synopsis

When young singer Christine Daae starts to make a name for herself in the Paris Opera, she attracts the attention of Erik, a deformed former musician, who now haunts the Opera posing as a ghost to get revenge on the Opera managers who wronged him. What ensues is a 3-week nightmare of terror, where Erik terrorizes the Opera and its patrons, in a mad pursuit of a love that was never to be

Description of Erik:

Erik 'The Phantom' Ghatson was born deformed, with a skull-like face. Despite this, he grew up well-liked by his parents, but when they passed, Erik went out into the world, where he was shunned by others for his strange appearance, except a Persian named Nadir Khan. Soon, the two of them discovered Erik's talent for music. This led Erik to get a job as a violinist at the opera, but, when his deformities were discovered the managers tried to silence him and Erik was presumed dead. Now, Erik and Nadir live in the catacombs beneath the Opera house, and Erik haunts the opera above to get revenge, and soon, for love
