Synopsis

The Legend of Drizzt is the overarching series within the Forgotten Realms detailing the exploits of the dark elf Drizzt Do'Urden. An atypical Drow, Drizzt becomes disillusioned with his people's conniving and xenophobic ways and forsakes Drow society, electing to live at first as an exile in the Underdark, and eventually journeying to the surface world, where he faces hatred and prejudice from the peoples of Faerûn who know the Drow by reputation.

Description of Ulgulu:

Ulgulu was a barghest whelp from the planes of Gehenna. Sent to the Material Plane to eat and grow, Ulgulu and his brother Kempfana made their home in the cave of a hill giant, where they could safely mature before returning to their home plane.
