Arrogant, lazy, self-serving, and oh, such a hit with the ladies - Jezal dan Luthar has hardly an accomplishment to his name, but his name, good looks and the silver spoon he was born with, all lend expectations of greatness to the brash youth. We meet Jezal as he trains to fight his way to glory in the much-vaunted Contest, a spectacle of martial prowess reminiscent of a fencing tournament.
