    I feel like Javier Bardem could pull off the look of Raul Julia’s Gomez Addams but I wonder if he could bring the same over the top personality and enthusiasm to the character that Raul Julia did. Most of Bardem’s roles although good have been slow and calculating. So it would be a complete switch to see him play Gomez Addams as Raul Julia did. Maybe a creative choice to portray Gomez as a dark calculating character like Shugar from no country for old men but who knows. We always seem to rush to judgement when an Actor plays a character that doesn’t match their previous roles but we shouldn’t rush to Judgment as everyone hated the idea of Heath Ledger as Joker until they say his amazing performance of the character which won him an academy award. Interested to see where this website survey leads but I would definitely like to see a new live action Addams Family especially if they could cast Bardem as Gomez.
