First appeared in New X-Men #118 in 2001 and was created by Grant Morrison and Ethan Van Sciver. Angel Salvadore, also known as Angel and Tempest, gained her mutant powers at the age of fourteen. Her powers include the ability to spit acid and fly, using wings, which can also produce destructive sonic blasts.
