Synopsis

Burt Felson is a young, idealistic kid fresh out of college. Eventually, he hears about the Vietnam War and decides to participate in it. During this time, he realizes the horrors of reality as he briefly experiences the brutality and griminess of Vietnam. After returning home, he decides to go on a spiritual journey and seek fortitude. In the midst of his journey, he gets involved and witnesses historical events unfold before his very eyes and unknowingly alters history.

Description of Clifford Wallace (A Journalist Burt Encounters Based On Their Mutual Experiences Of Vietnam):

Think of him as the Han Solo to Burt's Luke. He's a disillusioned journalist whom, after returning from the war, felt he has seen too much and became a cynical realist based on his experiences. Later on, he and Burt encounter one another and partner up as they become a dynamic duo.
