He was going to catch them, but their friend catches his eye: a different dog. ) Lockwood: What are you? Hmm. (looks in book of dog breeds. He's a speed reader, with 12 pages per second, and found nothing like the German Shepherds' friend in it. He makes a call.) Lockwood: Base, this is Bradshaw. Base, do you read me? P.A.: Roger, Bradshaw. Lockwood: I found those German Shepherds we've been looking for, but it seems they got a new pal. P.A.: Same breed? Lockwood: No. In fact, I looked in the entire book of breeds, and it's nowhere. Let me get a closer look. (looks into binoculars and gasps) Great Scott! Base, this is a new one! P.A.: How so? Lockwood: I know what it is, and it's not even a dog! P.A.: What is it then? Lockwood: A wolf. In our own city. P.A.: Come again? You heard me. (scene cuts)

Lilly: Yeah? Max: And does a van look like a truck and a car had a kid? Alice: In a nutshell, yes.
