Synopsis

The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins is a dystopian series set in the fictional nation of Panem, where a powerful Capitol controls 12 oppressed districts. Each year, the Capitol forces each district to send one boy and one girl, called “tributes,” to fight to the death in a televised event known as the Hunger Games.

Description of Alma Coin:

Katniss described Coin as being about 50 years old. She had gray hair that fell in an "unbroken sheet" down to her shoulders, lacking any visible flaws like wisps or split ends. Its unnatural perfection made Katniss wonder if it was a wig. Coin's eyes were also gray, though they were pale and devoid of color like "slush that you wish would melt away."
