Synopsis

This is pretty much a hypothetical CGI thomas reboot owned by hasbro instead of Mattel that’s more in line with the classic and brenner era in terms of quality, and is more realistic then the crappy all engines go 2D reboot. In this hypothetical show, it’s the present day, but it has the same quaint 19th century charm and semi-realism that Thomas is known for. And it has a rebooted cast of characters

Description of Nia the African Engine (CGI voice role):

(NOTE: Nia is rewritten heavily for this reboot, so she’s a good unique character now. Mostly inspired by the unlucky tug.) Nia is a KUR ED1 class 2-6-2T engine from Kenya, and is the number 18th engine on the NWR. She was nearly scrapped in Africa before being rescued by the fat controller and sent to sodor. Nia is a helpful and kind engine, but is also quite smart and an expert on stuff like wildlife. She also suffers a bit from culture shock for working on a new railway in a new country, but overtime, she’s adapted to it.
