Edward is a Furness Railway K2 4-4-0 Steam locomotive, and is the oldest member of the main 7 engines, or in this reboot, the main 10. He is a kind, wise and mature engine, with a lot of experience, and is the voice of reason, often telling off other engines when they’re acting like idiots. Although he might be seen as outdated, Edward will never give up, even in cases like wearing himself out or damaging his frames horribly. Edward is respected by the other engines as well.
