Synopsis

In the gritty underbelly of Chicago, investigative journalist Vic Sage is known for his relentless pursuit of the truth—no matter how dangerous it gets. When a respected city official is found dead under mysterious circumstances, Vic uncovers a tangled web of corruption, hidden agendas, and ruthless criminals operating in the shadows, As his search for answers leads him to the enigmatic crime lord known as Veritas, Vic’s journalistic instincts morph into a desperate fight for survival. He adopts the identity of The Question, an untraceable, faceless detective willing to go where no reporter can. With the help of an idealistic police detective and a street-smart hacker, he pieces together clues, exposing a conspiracy that threatens to tear the city apart, But as the masked vigilante digs deeper, he realizes that truth isn’t always black-and-white. And when his own past comes back to haunt him, The Question is faced with an ultimatum: uphold justice at all costs or sacrifice his own moral compass to stop the nightmare that Chicago has become.

Vic Sage isn’t just a journalist—he’s a relentless seeker of truth in a city drowning in deception. Every story he chases has consequences, but this time, he’s in deeper than he ever expected, Vic’s faceless mask is made of a specialized nano-fabric that adapts when exposed to a chemical spray or electric charge. The material temporarily smooths out his facial features, creating an unnatural blank slate. When deactivated, it returns to an ordinary-looking mask. It’s reminiscent of Rorschach’s shifting inkblot, Vic becomes something more than a vigilante—he becomes an idea, an unrelenting force exposing corruption in its rawest form.
