Synopsis

James is taking Farmer McColl's sheep to the fair, but how can he keep them and his lovely red paintwork clean when the shortest route means puffing along muddy tracks? Isn't he vain, but when he goes the long way round, the sheep escape and need rounding up. So James has to get muddy after all.
